What is the
Odyssey program?
The Odyssey Program is a free strength program spread over 5 weeks, which I decided to create to give a little glimpse of the programs I put together for my students who train for strength. The goal? To boost your performances on the squat, bench press, and deadlift.
This program is an Excel document in which you'll need to enter certain information to set it up. It comes with an explanatory PDF (mandatory reading before you start!). All loads will be pre-calculated from your 1RMs. You'll also have a choice between different variations on each exercise, depending on your weak points and the areas you need to work on.
The program is based on a double periodization: an undulating periodization within each week, and a linear periodization over the 5 weeks. This means that volume and intensity vary at each session throughout each week, and that volume decreases in favor of intensity as the weeks go by.

Who can follow this program?
This program can be followed by anyone with some basics in weight training. Indeed, you need to have already practiced the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Even though some information is given on how to perform certain exercises, I don't go into detail on technique.
This program is made for anyone interested in strength who wants to increase their performances on the three lifts. If you follow the program and my guidance rigorously, by the end of the program your 1RMs will have increased!

The PDF gives you all the guidance you need to carry out the program in the best possible way. You'll have all the directions and instructions to follow, the technical explanations on the possible variations to choose across the 3 lifts, how the program unfolds, what to do after finishing the 5 weeks... It is imperative to read it in full before starting!
The program comes as an Excel file. It will be personalized according to your recovery, and will let you choose the exercises you want to use. The program is designed for beginner and intermediate athletes.
